I have always been an avid reader, I have my mum to thank for that and I do from the bottom of my heart. I am not a particularly strong / smart / adventurous person, but through books I can go and do whatever I want whenever and wherever I want to, it's the ultimate form of escapism.

If I were to enter a beauty pageant (unlikely) and should I make it through to the round where they ask you what you would wish (even more unlikely) I would wish for world-wide literacy and access to all books ever written because I truly think that is the biggest and best gift I could give anyone.

My favourite book: Hard choice, but I am not going to sit on the fence here people! At the minute my favourite books are the Weather Warden Series by Rachel Caine. I have read seven so far in three days. Not as fast as I could, but I have been helping my sister with her Dissertation.

My favourite author: Again this has many answers and it truly depends on my mood at the time, but if pressed for an answer I would have to go with Jane Austen. Mr Darcy is the first man I ever fell in love with, even if he was a bit of an arse.
