Well first thing to help is to slowly upload your book, chapter by chapter. If you upload slowly your story will gather more readers. There is also a share your story club as apart of your clubs. On here we don't swap, we just read, make general comments. Some people can get offended by critism so it's best to ask the writer on their wall if they are okay with you giving an honest critique. There is also a wattpad Facebook page where we ask readers to check out our stories. Another way is just by making friends. One thing you must not do is ask them to read your story on a comment of their story, it is considered rude here. Also make your synopsis easy to understand, but intriguing. It's a lot of work and some of the best stories don't get noticed, but the people that run Wattpad also look for undiscovered gems and stories they can feature. There are some guides on here you can check out for other ways to promote your story, but most will say the same thing as me.

Hey I'm trying to go around and help some of the inkies coming over and you seem so sad about your loose of rank. Things on this site are different and we aren't as concerned about getting published worthy writing out, we are a bit more chill, but it you need any help with getting used to Wattpad then I'm around to giving you the ins and outs of wattpad. There are some technics to getting more reads on here, too. And things are a lot different, but you won't regret coming here :)
