I'm a dude who enjoys writing. While my muses come and go, you can usually find me working on a novel or two, and if I'm not, I'm probably writing poetry. I've been writing seriously for a few years, and I first started dabbling in writing when I was 11 or so. I can honestly say that writing has saved my life and because of it I'm alive today. I eat books for breakfast but take months to write them.

On a more personal level, I'm transgender (FTM, meaning I was born female but identify as male, and I'll be starting to transition soon), queer, and French/Irish-American. I enjoy horseback riding, swimming, and archery. Working out is pretty fun, too. I also like playing video names, namely Mass Effect and Assassin's Creed.

Shameless Fall Out Boy fanboy.

hi i know this probably won't convince you to put it back up, but i just wanted to say that i'm sad i didn't get a chance to read transparent again. it's been one of my favourite books since i read it. probably in the top five, including published books, right up there next to hamlet and moby-dick and brave new world. your writing inspired me so much when i first read it. and i know it's awful when you post stories and they don't get any feedback (i definitely know the feeling), but if i had seen it before it was taken down, i would have definitely tried to give as good feedback as i could (though it's hard to not just give endless praise with you). i respect your reasons for taking it down, i'm just disappointed i didn't get a chance to read it again before you did.

Okay, I'm sorry guys, but I'm taking down Transparent. I'm just not getting any feedback for it, at all, and that's why it was posted in the first place.

I might post another book of mine, but I also might not, I don't know.
