I have a love of "classic" regency romances. I think there is a shortage in the industry for this specific genre so I decided to follow my new favorite quote listed below. I first fell in love with the regency romances from who else but Jane Austen. Then I found Patricia Veryan who still remains my all time favorite. For the first time in my life while reading her books I actually laughed out loud. Georgette Heyer is also a favorite. I have recently came across some other good authors as follows: Candice Hern - has some great classic regency titles and her website is phenomenal. Barbara Metzger - Miss Lockharte's Letters was wonderfully entertaining! Emily Hendrickson Allison Lane I am hoping to have my first book, Wentworth's Baron, published soon. The version on Wattpad will not be the final published version (first draft and all). Thanks to all for the great feedback I received contributing to its improvement. And, thanks to all who were willing to take the time to give me your kind feedback. I also like science fiction (yes, I am a "trekkie"). Some good historical fiction books I have found here on Wattpad that I think are worth checking out are: The Last Dance by@xoStardust The Price of Honor by@KaylaScanlon The Taming of Victoria Colton by@Ashful When Like Minds Collide by@Ashful The Sweetest Kiss by@MarieHiggins Pretending That Your Mine by@MarieHiggins A Heart for Milton by@TrudysTattle Merlin's Gold by@TheOrangutan Love Me Always by@PhyllisCampbell Rachel's Story by@AnitaMisra and I'm still reading... :) QUOTES: "If there's a book you really want to read but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it." - Toni Morrison

@ireannechambers Thanks for fanning me! Good to "see" you here on Wattpad!
@IreanneChambers i read your story it was awesome. i always love to read single independent women story. so it was a delight to me to read your story girl
@Ashful this is WONDERFUL! I love it! Thank you!
Hey! I meant to show you this an age ago but then it slipped my mind. I stumbled across this a few moons past and -haha- it has actually inspired many names in my stories! I had a good laugh. There is also a plot generator, which is hilarious. But have a look at this: http://www.ugoi.net/nonsense/name.html
@AnitaMisra Thank you for the wonderful comment! Rachel's Story is definitely not lacklustre. I am getting a few chapters in a day this weekend but I hope to finish it within the next week or sooner :) Can't wait to find out about Mr. Fairfax!
Couple of corrections... Teacer=teacher Ours=yours My inner teacher couldn't let such irritating typos live in peace! ;-)
Ireanne, I just had to pop in to drop in a line to you. Since my broadband connection is a horrible one and my phone only lets me post messages on profiles, I chose this way. I love your comments. You are as sweet a reviewer as you are a writer! ;-) Though I appreciate anyone who takes the time to show their thoughts, I have a special soft corner for well thought out and grammatically correct comments (heh heh, blame the teacer in me!). And I love ours! About the rating..I am certainly not afraid of it. I am, in fact, proud of the fact that I could write a clean romance which could yet manage to entertain my readers. As you said, I have yet to see another historical on Wattpad with G rating, and my fear was that people out here (who seem to prefer the steamier sort) might find it lacklustre. I am very happy that you would consider it to be appropriate for your daughter to read. I hope you enjoy the journey of Rachel's life...it's gonna get more exciting than ever now! :)
@TrudysTattle@TheOrangutan, sure, no problem, really enjoy reading them :)
Thanks, Irene, for promoting my story as a good read. :)
Thanks for the shout outs Ireanne, much appreciated. Cheers, Gav
