So you've stumbled across my profile...

Well if you're reading this then I will assume you want to know something about me, or you are confused in which case stop reading now - you've probably spent too long staring at the computer screen, reading all of the amazing stories on Wattpad. I don't blame you, some of them are brilliant.

If you're still reading, congratulations! Here are some little factoids as a reward - I claim no promise of authenticity, although I didn't make them up. 

- The fear of long words is called, the 35 letter long, Hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia. 
I used this fact in a recent speech on Fears and Phobias. I love public speaking, especially writing the speeches. In fact, I love writing (and reading) in general - but of course!

- The name Wendy was made up for the book Peter Pan; there was never a recorded Wendy before. My name is not Wendy, but the Peter Pan (2003) is among my favourite movies of all time. This list also includes The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, Ice Castles (2010) and pretty much anything Disney.

- The microwave was invented after a researcher walked by a radar tube and a chocolate bar melted in his pocket.
My favourite food is cookies and cream ice cream, which would melt in a microwave. 

- Chewing gum while peeling onions will keep you from crying.
It would not, however, keep me from crying in any good movie or book, and even some bad ones (although I have never tried). Basically, I cry a lot when watching movies and reading books which can get pretty embarrassing sometimes.
