And don't start sentences with a conjunction. If you reread your work, you will find on rereading that a great deal of repetition can be avoided by rereading and editing. Never use a long word when a diminutive one will do. Unqualified superlatives are the worst of all. De-accession euphemisms. If any word is improper at the end of a sentence, a linking verb is. Avoid trendy locutions that sound flaky. You guys are going to hate me... I know, and I'm sorry. But what I was afraid would happen has happened. I found a story on Wattpad with the title of a story I had been writing and it had an incredibly similar story line, and the same tags. Maybe I'm being paranoid. But I love writing, and maybe I won't ever make a profession of it, but I want to keep my options open. Letting other people take my ideas won't do that. So, I'll leave most of my poems up, but my stories are coming down. I'm sorry! But stealing my ideas frustrates me (though I'm semi-flattered that someone liked the idea enough) and I'm not going to take that risk with books I really love. I hope you still enjoy the stuff I do choose to share! ~Kraid

@CharlotteAshley Thanks so much! And don't worry, I'm no expert. I just write what I think sounds nice. I don't go by any poetry formulas, but I admire people who can stick to them :) I haven't read Bazza'jo yet. The description looks really exciting though! I can't wait to get some free time to read it :)
