Hi,

I'm Eric Gardner author of God's Will Blood Line. A bit about me...well...I am a military brat, which means I grew up in a military family, and got to live around the world. I followed in my father's footsteps and joined the U.S. Army as an Infantry Officer. After completing my service and wartime commitment I left the Army and became a stay at home dad for my daughters. A drastic change, but one I wouldn't alter for anything. My wife is still with the Army so we move around quiet a bit. We call Virginia home for the moment.

I have always been interested in the Horror genera and Religious Fiction. Authors like Stephen King, Jeff Long, and Dean Koontz have been favorites of mine growing up. Frank Peretti's first book, This Present Darkness has been a long time re-read for me. But as with anything taste change and now I find that Gave Thorpe, Dan Abnett and Ben Counter fill my reading lists. That is when I am not writing more chapters for the Legion Series.

People ask how the story line came to life, and well to be honest I think the story found me, instead of the other way around, and now it writes itself, leaving me to be a humble scribe. I have always been interested in the wide scope of Christian Belief. Being a Christian, I wanted to try to understand everything about it. Allot of what I was exposed to was mind numbing, almost boring. Having such a military upbringing and career I found the war between light and darkness very intriguing. And the story I think is a bi-product of my life merging with my faith.

God's Will is the first book in the series I have created entitled The Thirteenth Legion. It is how I see the war against the darkness. Average people, doing extraordinary things with a little help from the great beyond. Explosions, things going bump in the night, and fast action... it might have it all, but I'll leave that for you to decide.

Hi Eric, I just wanted to tell you that God's Will is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I have read over 300 books on wattpad and over 500 published books but yours, yours is no.1 on my list! Your language portrays so much emotion and passion and I could tell from the first few chapters that you put extreme effort and so much thought into your writing. Congratulations on being the best author out there! Please keep writing and enjoy the rest of your weekend. ~Alaska xoxo

Hi Eric, so kind of you to write back and I enjoyed reading your thoughts below. Hope the move went/going well!

I found this book extremely immersive, the first very important scene setting chapters with such tremendous detail were challenging, but so worth the effort, hoping to get ahold of Book 2 soon, which may answer some of the questions I had from this first book about characters/the various different scenes being played out.

Have already recommended this book to friends who will be signing up on Wattpad, as it is a commendable thought provoking literary piece worth exploring. Yes reading it by candle or lamp light at night under a blanket on the sofa via the iphone is quite the experience! It's actually quite a good way to read books if your eyes can hold up :-) Certainly makes such good reads more accessible and there is no excuse not to read wherever the opportunity arises now! All the best and keep up the great work!

@SDM_READER WOW I am so excited about how you feel towards God's Will. I am sorry it took me so long to get back. I am currently in the process of moving across country and it is getting all my efforts at the moment. Thank you so very much for taking the time to let me know how much you like the story. Penning it is really a thrill for me so it is always wonderful to see that others enjoy it as well. I am in the final edit stage for book 3 of the series and I hope to announce its release some time this summer, but to be honest the move will govern most of that time line. I will keep you posted however if that is something you are interest in. Have a wonderful week and I hear that reading God's Will by candle light really makes it jump right off the page...:-) Thanks again.

Hi Eric, just popping in from "downunder" to let you know I was glued to your book God's Will Blood Line. Will be hunting down the others in the series on the net to purchase. I could not put this novel down, enjoyed it immensely, one of my first reads on Wattpad. I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed reading, it's been too long, so thanks for breaking the drought. It's been quite challenging to read on many levels given the storyline, and that's a very good thing. All the best! :-)

How are you... great to hear from you. Book 3 has hit a snag. It went forward to editing and came back with a few holes I need to fill. Nothing crazy but small story inserts throughout. It is over 100 pages longer than book 2 so I guess I must have been in a hurry...:-) How is your poetry going? I hope your having a blast writing. As for the legion, I'll keep you posted. I am also working on revamping book 1, a bit of new pacing changes (nothing changes in the story) and bolstering the details in the story a bit so it all really cements. I will keep you posted. Thank you for checking on me so that I keep at it...:-) I hope all is well.

@Kylieboe Thank you sooooooooo very much for such wonderful feed back. You are way to kind...:-) I am stoked that you are enjoying the series and that you are half way through the second book and that it is has you hooked. Your timing is perfect; I just got an initial review of book 3 and I need to do some serious work to get it up to the standards of book 1 and 2 so I was in need of some solid motivation. And I found your message and I am set to go again, so thank you. I hope you find book 3 (when it finally does come out) as entertaining as the first 2. Books 4 and 5 are well underway (about 20 chapters written in each). Have a wonderful weekend and thank you for taking the time to let me know that you enjoyed the books. It really does mean alot. God bless.
