Hello there! My name is Elijah I wish I could talk about what I like, but to be quite honest it's easier to say what I don't like(yes I'm a pessimist): 1) Fan Fiction. Some people may argue with me, but at the end of the day, what are you going to be more proud of? A novel that's dedicated to someone else's creative energy, or one dedicated to your own? 2) Romance on Wattpad. I think I'm going to puke. 3) The ticking noise clocks make. 4) People who haven't watched Lord of the Rings or Star Wars. I mean, come on! Merry and Pippen forever! GIMLI FOR PRESIDENT! I don't like elves though. They don't have beards. 5) People who read historical fiction in order to be "less trashy". Don't get me wrong, it's great! The only reason why fantasy has become trashy is because you have ignored it, and therefore leave a few number of authors to write good fantasy. 6) People who wear strong perfume. It's a red flag for: "I DO NOT SMELL GOOD WITHOUT IT" 7) People who don't like chocolate. What's wrong with you? 8) People who complain that Indians eat food with their hands. May I ask how you eat Pizza? 9) Ear plugs. They hurt. Ear phones are better. 10) People who use photoshop. I don't mean this literally. I love artists who use media in order to enhance their creative energy. But It's quite obvious when someone knows more about technology than they know about their artistic motivation. Also, I think it cheats a lot of hard working people off. A realistic painting on computer never will match the genuineness a messy brush stroke. @This_Chik thanks!
Your book 'A Writer's Guide to Detail' is just amazing! Yeah...I can't describe it. But It's just awesome ! Fanned you <3
@ElijahWillis I have to agree with that. :) And yeah, I really appreciate your book, A writer's Guide to Detail. It helps me in writing my own story. You rock.
LadyLibra i agree...
@ANNEnonymous nope. Not all romances. Just a lot of the ones on romance here on wattpad bother me a lot(probably because the majority of male characters have six packs and girls are busting babies like there's no tomorrow). @StormsKilian My personal belief is that friendship is underestimated. Friends definitely make me happy. I like to make a joke, "I'm in a relationship with everybody!" Why can't there be more stories and songs about friendship? My little pony got that right. Friendship is magic! And I do love my little pony. That's for your third question. I don't want to call it "talent". I like to think I'm talented! Piano started by a thing pressurized by my parents at 5. To be quite honest, I didn't actually practice it until I was 12. But now I love it!. Flute began in elementary school bands. But I'm a rebel and quit. I love doing jazz improv on the flute. It sounds strange but my teacher was part of a band with her husband(singing, guitar, and flute) so my weird taste probably comes from that. I wish I could do improv on piano. But again, I'm not talented. And Playing jazz on piano isn't just memorizing a scale and randomly playing notes.
i get that but love gives hope doesn't it? i think the characters do say a lot about the writer, but wattpad can be a starting point for many people and if they write about love that they haven't experienced they may not get the whole i fell in love at first sight does not work thing. . . and characters don't develop as they should and i think that the people need love to be happy (i am not saying you will just be happy and nothing can go wrong) but it makes you fight for what you have it makes you want to wake up... what ells can make you more happy that finding the person that you want to spend the rest of your life with.... hehe okay so you have a talent for music... did you learn to play for fun or was it more like a thing where your parents send you to learn at age 6 ? i'm very chatty so if you don't like it you don't have to reply, but i really like strong opinionated people.
@ElijahWillis I just can't convince myself not to write on your message board. :) Just wanna ask something: You really hate all romance stories? Or just the cliched stories here on wattpad? I know, I'm asking nonsense. But I just wanna know. :)
@StormsKilian And my opinion on romance can be swayed given that the characters are that well developed and if they are characters on their own. Otherwise I just get annoyed with stereotypes and the message of the romance. Is finding someone you want to marry really your key to happiness?
@StormsKilian Hahah! No, I love other people's opinions! I don't really have much of an opinion on music(considering I do play piano and flute). I basically love anything weird. I recently discovered a French singer named Emilie Simon(may have spelled that wrong). Her songs are downright creepy but I can't get enough of it. I also am getting into of Monsters and Men(mostly because their cover art and music videos are fantastic).
