I am a old strict teacher that has been retired/disabled. In the past I have offered to read, critique, and edit any stories sent to me. I have decided to retire, as of Friday January 24th 2013 I will no longer accept new authors. I am going to finish with those works still on my plate. If you are a current author then I will try to direct you to other editors. My health continues to play a factor. I enjoy reading in the following genres: Humor, Werewolf, Science fiction, Old West, Historical Fiction, and sometimes Romance. Write On! Hey everyone! Please comment on the stories that you read. Really say something to the writers. Tell them how to improve and what you think that that improvement would take. To the authors please have those stories edited~by someone that is on the site, writes and edits well. There are many stories on this site that I cringe when I read them. The grammar is horrible. The spelling is seemingly done by 5th graders. Come on everyone lets step this up a notch. Quality is as important as quantity. Why the nickname DormDad--This is simple, I was the oldest married man and father in the dorms of the school I went to get my teaching degree. Anymore questions let me know. Been ill and then my step-daughter has been having transportation issues. My pain levels have increased so overall I have not written in quite a while. How about you?

Whenever you would like. I am not writing at the moment. I have been in ill health. I have not done much. I am trying to get back in the swing of things. I would suggest that you read the following series of stories when you have time. They are on www.finestories.com, but are very well written by an author by the name of Vanessa Ravencroft. Just look her up in the authors section. Really good reading.
