Hello! My name is Demi. I'm an eighteen year old college student from England. I study Sociology, English Literature and English Language currently. I also work part time at a bakery and rehearsal studio. I should be studying a Sociology degree at Leeds University later on this year. My other hobbies and interests include playing electric guitar and sketching portraits. If there was one career I ever wanted to pursue, it would be to become an author. And as of late I feel as though it would be the only occupation to make me happy and fulfilled. Although chances are against me and I may not ever be published - I am going to try. And even if I never make it, writing will always be a big part of my life. As a living or hobby. My most adored book is 'A Clockwork Orange' by Anthony Burgess for a variety of reasons. Whether it be the language style or the controversial issues or ideas explored, I love every aspect of the book. Don't expect an answer if you ask me if my plots have a definite end. I like ambiguous work with multiple endings. I adore plot twists, strange characters, lots of different styles of writing to suit all themes. I love to write about plots where reality is debatable and outcomes are blurred. If you read my work, you often need to think, it isn't just a one-way drive. The main genres I dabble in are Horror, Non-Teen Fiction, Drama and Short Stories. Feel free to have a chat with me if you like. I do R4R and C4C if asked.

@RichardStaschy Nurse could be a decent one. Notebook just reminds me of Black Book though, haha. I'll have to have a think.
I like nightmares but maybe... nurse, noon, notebook, niece, nephew, numb, nude, necromancy or necronomicon... :)
And we finally have an update for 'The A to Z of Horror'. Remember - M is for Madmen!
@StevenClapp No problem. And from the little I've read so far I'm already impressed. x
Hey, thanks for following me. Hopefully I'll impress you. :-)
@RichardStaschy Haha, that's looking at it as a back up plan at least. All I can do is try anyway.
At worst you write 2000 words for your next horror letter :) But I doubt that... :)
@RichardStaschy We'll see, hopefully, haha.
I think you'll do well.
@RichardStaschy I'm very tempted to have a go this time but I'm also a bit scared of failing so to speak after these few months. My writing's gone a bit bland. I suppose I could use this as an opportunity to get back into the swing of things, though? I'll keep an eye out on it, anyway. Thanks for letting us know. :)
