Always loved reading so it was only natural that I'd eventually discover story telling. My favorite genres are drama, comedy, and romance when it's not stupid. I happen to love tragic endings and don't understand why they aren't more popular. Why are people so turned off by unhappy endings? That might be because if asked, I'd call myself a drama writer. I'm all about the characters and what they feel and who they are. With the exception of my short stories, I spend a lot of time on them. My Writing Process: After extensive research on the topic and outlining I start writing. I write the chapter first. Go back and rewrite, then rewrite one last time. Then I edit, making sure all the sentences flow together properly and that I've hit all the major plot points I wanted to cover in the chapter. Then I edit spelling and grammar. I make sure I have as few mistakes as possible. Then I read over it one last time. And just when I think my eyeballs will explode if I read it one more time, I publish. Then I go to chapter two. And even still, mistakes slip by me. So if you see one, go ahead and call me on it. I appreciate the story being read by a fresh pair of eyes. Just be kind, I'm a delicate soul.

Was watching a movie last night where a guy was in a strip club and they had a 'Do Not Strangle the Dancers' sign up. Made me think of your book and LOL
@JaneSilver16 Actually I looked that up ahead of time and though there is some disagreement, most agree that the words capitalized in a title should be first and last words, nouns, verbs, adjectives, conjunctions and prepositions four letters or more. Words like: and, as, in, the, and but should not be capitalized unless they are the first or last word. ex: The Young and the Restless
Shouldn't "but" in your story "Look but Don't Choke" be capitalized? I'm probably wrong, but just asking. :)
@GordanaLam While the main character in Look but Don't Choke is in an interracial relationship, I don't write or bring attention to it. I like to play the racial stuff a lot more subtle. So no, there are no plans for a major story arc focusing on the struggles of dating a person of another race. Instead I choose to portray it as simply existing.
@DeliriousMoon hi I was wondering if you wrote any interracial novels?? if you don't, that Is totally fine I've just begun reading your work ... and already I'm amazed ! hahaha I got all that from reading the first page of look but don't choke
I will start reading, just need to.refresh myself with book.one!
YOU STARTED THE SEQUEL! YES!
@AbiiTastic Yeah, I didn't want you (or other readers) to worry about that. I haven't bumped Evie's book down. I just put the other one on temporary hold. Evie's book is my #1 priority. I'm actually writing a couple pages right this second.
