Suffice to say, I am your average teenager. I love to read and write, although I seldom have time to do either. Some of my favorite authors are Jim Butcher, J.R. R. Tolkien, and Frank Herbert. Typically I read fantasy, sci-fi, or adventure/mystery novels, although I do enjoy the odd romance. I love the classics, sometimes I hate how Emily Bronte or Nathaniel Hawthorne writes in old English, but then I realize that the language adds to the story's beauty. I've learned to appreciate all the books my english teachers have made me read, kind of like how I've accepted the fact that math keeps my world from going insane, sad I know. I don't know what I want to do in the future, if I want to continue writing, or go to law school, or med school, or no school. But I do recognize that the future is creeping up on me moment by moment, day by day; which is why I write. Writing is my escape from my imperfect reality to a world where I have all the answers to someone else's problems. While it may seem I have a God complex, I don't, at least I don't think so. I just enjoy the hypothetical solutions to these hypothetical problems... Ok, so maybe I do have a God complex...
