Chris Buono

Chris(topher L.) Buono writes short and long fic, is a lyricist on FAWM, and part of Hallmark Publisher's insider review crew. 

Ever since Chris's short rom placed in the WRITERS' Journal Rom Fic Contest he wanted to pen rom. Due to WRITERS' Journal's recognition of that ss, the magazine put Chris (Christopher L. Buono) on as a contributing editor and had him pen its screenwriting column. During that time, Christopher had compiled/ed the 1st title (The WRITERS' Journal Guide to the Writing Life) for Writers' Journal Books--a div he developed for Val-Tech Media, pub of WJ.

Christopher had also been the pub/ed-in-chief of Writer's Guidelines & News, a quarterly magazine for writers. The late, great ALL MY CHILDREN and CITIZEN KANE star Ruth Warrick was one of his columnists.

Chris has written from stage drama to farce and screwball comedy. He's interviewed Aaron Sorkin (Oscar-winning screenwriter) and Melissa Carter (Emmy-winning TV writer). Stage and TV-legend actress Linda Lavin had also once asked to read his sitcom bible/sample scripts.

Some of Chris's most popular short stories are holiday tales--his tender Valentine's Day BLUE SNAKERS, RED HEART and warm-hearted A PAPER-TREE CHRISTMAS among them.

Christopher has twice been a featured writer in USAToday bestselling author Kelly Anne Blount's Wattpad Block Party with both horror and thriller. His nonfiction work has also appeared on Limitless Publishing's author Trinity Hanrahan, The Pink Heart Society's Ali Williams, and Kensington Publishing's author Darly Jamison's blogs.
