POEM has its own depth and beauty. There is reason in every creation of a piece. For some, it may be of love's sake or a release of a thwarted affection. Others would claim of one's pleasure for nature and of man. Yet to compose such work of art demands heightened language and knowledge of rhythm. It takes someone's creativity and fathomless experience in life. Thus, one has to be observant in every undertaking that comes his way. For poem is a sheer reflection of practicalities. A reminiscence is as vital as having an insight of the things that lie inside an emotion. However, it doesn't take a genius to be a poet. What is of paramount matter is to have a heart, because poem is intended to touch one's emotion through the language of its own... POEM has depth, but has no meaning. It just holds loveliness. It doesn't require understanding of words from its verses. But more of an appreciation from the heart... Cherry Gozo Moya
