I've been a storyteller since I was very small. I used to lie in bed at night and spin adventures in the dark as my sisters listened, sometimes stretching the parts of the stories out across several days. It's been a long time since then, but I've saved my dream carefully and now I want to learn to write out the stories that won't leave me alone.

My influences include Mercedes Lackey, Andre Norton, Anne McCaffrey, Patricia A. McKillip, Isaac Asimov, and Robin McKinley. I want to write like them when I grow up.

Chapter 20 of A Rose for Beauty is up.

Special thanks to all the readers of this story, who make me feel too guilty to give up entirely, even when I get stuck.

Hey! I was wondering if you are still taking stories for your book club reviews. If so, I'd really love to see what kind of reviews I would get for Nova Fantasy and Identity. I'm hoping for publication some day, so I figured I'd get some honest opinions early on. :D

Hello. I just wanted to say that I'm glad you are on Wattpad. Your Fantasy author index is what brought me here, and I ended up checking out most of your works. The fairytales are interesting, but I particularly enjoyed your helpful 'How To' books. How To Hit The Hot List is something that I've needed for a long time, as is The Writer's Clinic. I've always thought my writing seems childish, so your hints and tips in that book will definitely help me out in the near future. I hope to use some of your tips when writing my stories. Your Book Club is fantastic. I love reading reviews of books before reading the actual book, because so many times I have felt let down by a book that sounded so good. So thanks for creating these works. They're really helpful.

@CarolynLorelle On that same note I suggest you check out Roger Zelazny. He's scifi masquerading as Fantasy that pretends to be scifi again. He's really amazing and probably the best science fiction writer ever. He wrote the Chronicles of Amber and Lord Of Light. Two amazing books.
