I wouldn't know what to write here even if I tried. 

I'm Helena, I'm a teenager...? Writing is fun, actually my first story on here came out of a weird dream I had, some of the characters are based on people I know, but I think you can't show emotion through your characters if you don't have a real connection to them. After all, how are readers gonna cry for your characters if you don't?

I am doing my A Levels, they're killing me. Imagine how I'll feel in 5 years when I'm deep in my doctorate... My mum passed down her singing voice to me, which I love, we do a round of 'build me up buttercup' when we're together, though I'd rather not in public. I write to send myself to sleep, I find that if I'm not over thinking it, what is much more interesting. Though it also accounts for some horrideous spelling mistakes. 

Big fan of horror movies but I think the most interesting thing in the world is the connection between people. (and therefore of course the way that is presented on screen).

Please like, comment, vote, critique my stuff, I'll probably write a lot more in the summer. However I do ask you refrain for swearing or being particularly rude, as that never actually gets a point across more effectively than rational explanation.
