I uploaded my fist story to Wattpad. It's not much, but it's the only thing I ever finished. Sigh... I don't really know what to put here. I'm a girl (if you ever worried), I'm uh... well I'm in secondary school, let's not get into specifics about age... I... hmm... I like chocolate. But that's a given since I'm, you know, human. I like cheese. Nothing weird about that. I also like chocolate with cheese. Now that's a little weird. But who's judging. I have two shirts that are exactly the same. Did I forget I bought it and then buy it again? Did I buy it and then get a spare just in case? Did I get one as a present when I already had one? No-one will ever know.
![]() | Getting BetterWhat are you doing here? Two strangers meet and are still, detached from the ever-changing world. They take the time to look, and they see- pain, hurt, old scars. Opened, but healing. Gradually but surely. Healing. |
Thanks for the vote on Transcend!
Thanks for the follow!
@Capricious Hey again, Maya! Thanks a ton for the vote and comment on Transcend. You are super awesome!
Thank you so much for your comment on Transcend! It made my day. ^_^ Oh, the description problem has been driving me up the wall. It's hard to add description in a boy's POV. I'm so glad you think it's adequate. Unfortunately, Transcend is very American, but I absolutely adore the English Premier League (Liverpool <3 ) and I couldn't resist adding the bit about football. Thank you for reading!

I'd like to thank you for the read and the vote, mate. ^_^ Really kind of you to take the time out of yer day to do it.
Thanks for fanning, and for the vote!
Thank you for the vote :D Now I'm on vacation, I'm going to try to update more regularly, so Chapter 9 should be done by next weekend. Things have been sporadic because uni work is insane and I've been very ill... anyway, I'm glad you're enjoying Plan B. Kirky^^
@Capricious Ah I'm so sorry. I don't get notified when someone replies to me on their own message board, so I didn't see your reply until right this moment. So if you do reply back, please post it on my message board or PM me. :) A novel should generally be between 60k and 100k words. Especially for your debut novel, don't exceed 100k. Unless you're already established and popular like JK Rowling, Stephanie Meyer, Stephen King, or Christopher Paolini, no one will sign you for a manuscript that clocks in at over 100k words because of the cost of printing, shelf space for thicker books, etc. Sometimes they make excepts for fantasy books, but your query letter and manuscript have to be mindblowingly good. Oh, the "k" at the end of numbers means multiply the number by 1000. So 100k = 100,000. 60k = 60,000. In other words, a novel for young adults/adults should generally be between 60,000 words and 100,000 words.
@YuffieProductions Well, if you're fans are really super nice then we could just delete it from our mobile libraries and we'll never be able to get it back... But then... it's just such a good story that I don't wanna let go of... sniff... But either way, I'll probably buy it when it gets properly published even if just because it's worth the money. (Dunno why, but I feel kinda guilty when I read a good story online for free and I feel like I should be paying the author for it...) Yeah, here in England we write it 1.10.12 (or 1/10/12) as in date/month/year. And it's funny cos Americans say October 1st and we say 1st of October so i guess it makes sense they're written different ways. On a completely unrelated note, can I ask you something? How long should a story be? Like you mentioned something about how it shouldn't be longer than 100k, but.. uhm... what does that mean? (Don't judge me, I don't do it on purpose, I was just born stupid!)
