Hola. Me llamo Cactus. Me gusta escribir y leer. Y ahora en Ingles:

That says 'Hello. My name's Cactus. I like to write and read. And now in English:' because I don't know enough Spanish to continue that sentence. I tried, though. I honestly tried. I'm attempting to learn Spanish. It's hard. I'm also trying to learn to play guitar and soccer and really most anything that catches my fancy. Youtube tutorials are incredibly useful to an aspiring dilettante such as myself (dilettante is the word that I missed in my fifth grade spelling bee and I still have not gotten over that day).

I have functional OCD, which is Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. The 'functional' part means it doesn't stop me from functioning normally. However, I do most everything in 5s, preferably 3 sets of 5 if possible. Like I said, it doesn't prevent me from going about my day, but some people think it's weird when I accidentally brush their arm and then have to do it four more times.

I also love to doodle. Class bores me as a general rule, so I flip to the back of my notebook and see if I can fill an entire page with fun shapes and spirals and weird grape-trees. They've evolved from bored doodles to detailed and creative masterpieces. I'm very proud.

I listen to a variety of music, ranging from Simon and Garfunkel and Bryan Adams to Nirvana and The Doors. The most incredible, soul-baring, touching, mobile, applicable book in the world is, in my humble opinion, The Bone People by Keri Hulme. Read it, I dare you. And don't be thrown off by the odd foreign words. You get used to them. I adore the movie The Graduate. Funny in a subtle way, and not pure comedy.

I believe in open-mindedness, gay rights, women's rights, gun laws, Obama, and other things I could name if I weren't running out of space.

I'm currently working on Reinvention and plan on actually updating that, but I regret to inform The Black Mask fans that I won't be continuing that series. Sorry.
