Educator. Coach. Historian. Author. Ohio University alum. I discovered my love for writing during my undergraduate years while studying History at Ohio University. However, writing did not come easy for me. Early on, I struggled in advanced History courses where professors challenged me to write concise papers on complex issues. But after working with professors and accepting their critiques, I have become a talented writer of history to the extent of a professor encouraging me to submit my junior composition research paper to the Undergraduate History Conference to present to historians and professors and the like in 2010. It was truly a great experience. About one year ago I began writing a science fiction/futuristic novel about a man named Troy Duckworth who helps create a movement to take over the United States government and implement radical, truly democratic reforms to benefit the populace over the elite few. One year later, this novel of 85,000 words is complete. This is not your traditional futuristic novel, as it includes much more than you may think. Give the 'The Movement' a read, you will enjoy it!
