About

I'm a former magazine editor who's had the privilege of interviewing celebs like Miley Cyrus, Heather Morris, Ashley Tisdale, Dakota Fanning and Ashley Greene. I'm also a total book nerd. My author crush is Meg Cabot—seriously, who's more genius than her?—and I also love authors Jonathan Mayberry, Amanda Havard, Stacey Jay and the Mara Dyer series!

But first and foremost, I'm a young adult writer. My book, LIFE'S A WITCH is a modern retelling of the Salem Witch Trials from the perspective of a sassy, sexy, 17-year-old girl. And I'm happy to announce that after more than 19 million reads of LAW here on Wattpad, I signed a 3-book deal with Simon & Schuster to repub the book! LIFE'S A WITCH, THE WITCH IS BACK & WHAT THE SPELL are available in bookstores and online now!

sorry it has taken me a while to write back, lol. I am thinking of doing the field work, scooping if you will. I love interviewing people and writing the stories. so I guess a reporter.

Awww, thanks so much! Usually with all my books, I'm trying to learn something. Either how I feel about certain subjects or situations or why people do the things they do. I think there are certain universal situations....the details might be different, but in general, we can all relate. And that's what it all comes down to. Connecting with others over shared experiences. It's important for us to know we're not alone and to learn from our experiences, good or bad.

      Thanks so much for reading!

Sheesh....that's rough. First off, sorry that happened to you. I'm not sure I'm the best one to ask advice from though. I, myself, had a rough time in high school. I was bullied a lot, didn't have a ton of friends, and I went through a similar thing as you, where my senior year, all my guy friends decided one day (for literally no reason other than they were bored) that they weren't going to be friends with me anymore. And so most of my senior year was spent friendless, abandoned and alone. It was NOT fun.

I think a lot of teenagers can be incredibly cruel. And they make horrible decisions that affect others in a big way. The only thing I can say is that once you're out of high school, it all gets better. People stop playing stupid, childish games. They realize that high school and its hierarchy's and bullshit don't matter in the real world.

So, I'd say, stick to your truth, try not to let it get to you, remember that TONS of others have been through the same kind of crap as you (and even more are going through it right now!!!), and that eventually, middle school, high school...all of it will be over and you can finally be lauded for the awesome person you are. Just be you and know you're SO NOT ALONE!

Of course I respond! I mean, I wouldn't be where I am today without my fans. So if people are going to take the time to write to me, then I can take the time to write back! I appreciate (almost) every comment I get!
