Just an old retired man who used to work in IT for the federal court system.  Always wanted to be a writer and my high school teacher convinced me to submit my first story way back then.  Imagine the torment and utter shame of a 17 yr old boy when he got his first reject.  The ember was still there but badly shaken.  Now, eons later, I am a published author with several of my own books and about 14 anthologies under my belt.  I am loving the thrill.  

I tend to blend genres in my stories so it is difficult to say it is this or that.  My "2012: Timeline Apocalypse" is a fantasy, paranormal, historical, detective, thriller, action type tale with a little romance and science thrown in to make it interesting. "Three Steps: The Journeys of Ayrold" is a Celtic fantasy. "Pangaea, Eden Lost" is a work of fiction on the lines of Indiana Jones, except my hero is a clumsy adventurer. "52 Weeks of Writing Tips" is non-fiction filled with helpful writing how-to's, some quite innovative. I've also got "The Secret Voice" which is a type of Amish Christian novel but not your typical Amish girl love angst type but about a young Amish lad wanting to sing. Maybe horror is your thing - check out my collection of shorts in "At Death's Doors."

When not writing you will find me out in the garden puttering around (summer) or reading actual fantasy books (seed catalogs) during the winter.  I also read real books, too, so I keep my finger on the pulse of science fiction, fantasy, horror, romance, Christian, adventure, thrillers, mystery, action and detective genres.

If I'm not gardening then hopefully I'm in my RV and out enjoying the back roads of America.  I love to travel and have been to almost every state.  I've been to Hawaii and Puerto Rico (a state and territory) but not made it to Alaska, yet.  

OK, the above wasn't all that exciting but I'm not that exciting -- my stories are.  Read them and let me know what you think.
