Just an old retired man who used to work in IT for the federal court system. Always wanted to be a writer and my high school teacher convinced me to submit my first story way back then. Imagine the torment and utter shame of a 17 yr old boy when he got his first reject. The ember was still there but badly shaken. Now, eons later, I am a published author with 2 of my own books and about 14 anthologies that I am in under my belt. I am loving the thrill. I tend to blend genres in my stories so it is difficult to say it is this or that. My "2012: Timeline Apocalypse" is a fantasy, paranormal, historical, detective, thriller, action type tale with a little romance and science thrown in to make it interesting. When not writing you will find me out in the garden puttering around (summer) or reading fantasy books (seed catalogs) during the winter. I also read real books, too, so I keep my finger on the pulse of science fiction, fantasy, horror, romance, adventure, thrillers, mystery, action and detective genres. If I'm not gardening then hopefully I'm in my RV and out enjoying the backroads of America. I love to travel and have been to almost every state. I've been to Hawaii and Puerto Rico (a state and territory) but not made it to Alaska, yet. I am married, have four sons and right now I have eight grandkids to spoil. With a little luck, hopefully, I'll see maybe one more grandchild and since my oldest grandson is out on his own, I may become a great-grandfather in the next year or two... who knows? OK, the above wasn't all that exciting but I'm not that exciting -- my stories are. Read them and let me know what you think.

Thank you very much for fanning me
Glad you replied. Hey, any person who can get over 2 million reads is an impressive person who needs to be followed. I gleaned the premise of your novel and it sounds really exciting and I hope to get to it after the holidays. I used to live / work in the DC area - actually I worked right outside Union Station (Admin Office of US District Courts) finally retired and moved back home to Ohio. As to BH, Eternal Blood - it is a new novella I started to bring an audience to my 2012 novel with Hargrove. I have several other books and stories and hope to get them out there for the public. BTW, any ideas on how you got such a readership? I'd love to see my number of reads increase. I humbly stand in YOUR shadow and will be reading Glide in the next week or so... anxiously waiting. - Thanks, Bob.
Hi Bob, I'm flattered that an accomplished author like you would become a fan. Thank you! I see you've posted some Barry Hargrove stories here on Wattpad--are they new works or something you've published in the past? Don't know if you've had a chance to check out my novel, Glide, but if you do I'd love to get your feedback. Thanks again! - Bill
