@RunningTears Well, as I wrote it, I was more or less putting myself through those situations--like, some of the scenes are actually based off of things I've experienced myself. So, in my mind, I guess I picture Aislyn to be me even though she is blonde. I did describe us the same in body, though. I tried not to describe her much (I mean, she needed basic characteristics: her hair is blond, her eyes are brown, she's not in peak physical condition, etc.) but in general, I was hoping that my lack of description of her in the looks department would help the reader put themselves in her place instead of just reading about this random character who goes through all those scenarios. Hahaha, this was a really long answer to say: I imagine myself in Aislyn's place, and I hoped (and still do hope!) that my readers picture themselves in her place as well. :)
