Greetings visitors,

My name is Kayla, but I prefer to be called K.J here on Wattpad. 
I am an English Lit major at my university and my dream is to have a novel published.

I first took an interest in books and writing when I was in early middle school and had to read “The Giver” by Lois Lowry for a project.
I first started writing with simple poetry, two of which have been published in small coffee house books.

Other than that I am pretty much a boring person, but here are some of my favorite things.

Favorite Book: “Unwind” by Neal Shusterman
Favorite Poem: “Fire and Ice” by Robert Frost or “The Jabberwocky” by Lewis Carroll
Favorite Authors: Ellen Hopkins, Kevin Brooks, and J.K Rowling

@Glowfish - Thanks. I love that his stories never have that fairy tale happy ending. They always have a sad, realistic one instead. I read a lot of Brook's books when I was in high school and they just reiterated the fact that I wanted to write.

Might I just say that I love that you list Kevin Brooks as a favorite author? When I was younger, he was what inspired me to really get into reading and writing - it's wonderful to see others not only knowing him, but liking his work as well!
