Arnold John S. Galicia used to write editorial, news, and feature articles for The Sebastinian, San Sebastian College-Recoletos' official student publication while submitting his poems and short fiction to Lumad, the school's official literary anthology which he edited for two consecutive years. His poems have already been published in other literary anthologies namely ‘Longos’, ‘Paliparan’ (of Cavite Young Writers Association), and ‘Bingit’ (of Linangan sa Imahen, Retorika, at Anyo). Arnold is busy reading classic novels and studying in ABS-CBN's Free Scriptwriting Workshop under Mr. Ricky Lee's mentorship, one of the country’s most respected screenwriters. A consistent winner in the annual The Sebastinian Editor’s Choice Awards and a recipient of the SSC-R Journalism Award, he is also an awardee in the competitions conducted by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) from 2007 to 2010.
