Hey, I'm April. Good to meet you. I'm 18 years old and I have aspirations to be a successful writer, as an author and probably a University Lecturer. I have a place at Bedfordshire University on a Creative Writing degree course starting next September so hopefully all goes well with that. I am very, very excited. 

My role model in terms of writing is probably Miranda Hart; her show is amazing and she writes all of her own scripts too, I also have her autobiography which I got for Christmas this year (2012) and I am currently reading it. It's pretty damn amazing to be honest with you. 

I have actually finished a book, one which I am going to try and get published very soon. I am not sharing it on here for the above reason, however. Query Letters are pretty damn difficult to be honest with you. But I suppose practice makes perfect. And its definitely the job I want so I shall just keep going with it and see how things go :) 

I have only a few close friends and a couple of best friends, but if I'm honest I prefer it that way. I'm not one to want to have lots and lots of friends, because what's the point? You won't always have the chance to speak to all of them and it'd get pretty confusing. 

I'm clumsy, another reason why I love Miranda Hart, which you'll understand if you've either seen her show or read her book, or both I don't know, whatever's good for you I guess? So yeah, I aspire to be like her, not that my acting is that great. But eh, I do have a best friend who is amazing at acting so maybe she can be my little actress for my scripts :P 

I'm loyal, and if we're close and you mean a lot to me I'll be there to give you advice if you need me to :) And I also like to think I'm friendly, I can start up a conversation with anyone to be honest. I'll just start talking about things around me like that time when I tripped on the step getting onto the train once, I just started rambling! :L
