Hey everyone,

I am an 18 year old engineering student studying at Queen's University. If you haven't already guessed I'm from Canada. I guess this is the part where I'm supposed to write about myself and say all sorts of things that should make you hate me. But I'm not gonna do that. I'm just going to write a normal bio thingy-majiger. Yeah.

I'm a pretty big fan of fantasy and sci-fi but I do love the odd story that is just about people. William Golding's Freefall will always be a favourite of mine and deserves its place next to the Tolkien novels on my shelf. I find the thrill of exploring a new world and taking part in the events that shape it invigorating and exciting, which is one of the biggest reasons for why I write. Just allowing myself some time off from my normal life and lets me step into a world of my own making. I love it. Also, writing is a way I stay sane. It is an outlet through which I can voice all my struggles and pains without any fear of reproach or consequences. Writing gives me a voice and I intend to use it. Oh and for all you fantasy haters out there, an old wise wizard will never ever be a cliche. Their kind of folk will always be in style.

To say a little about my interests, I ski, snowboard, skateboard, and play video games. My all time favourite game is Halo. Its strange I don't write any fan-fic for that though. As for what I like to listen to, I am all over the board. I don't listen to rap or country at all but as for every other genre, I can honestly say there is something I have liked. I enjoy my mixed tastes as they ensure I always have something fresh to listen to.

Alright, time for some news. So way back when (last March) when I started Rise (see Arisen) wattpad told me the title needed to be longer for it to process or something silly like that. Well, the true title is Rise, and I just changed it to that. So don't be alarmed when it appears your favourite story of mine has disappeared. As well, with the new (kinda) name comes a new cover. Let me know what you guys think, and happy reading.
