This is the hard part, right? Writing something about yourself.  I guess I should start with the obvious - hi, my name is Amy.

I have always loved to write and for as long as I can remember I have been filling up books with words and stories.  I adore drawing as well - there's just something sort of magical and blissful about being able to create and escape into worlds that can be beautiful or tormented; entirely what you want them to be.  I don't often let people read my pieces, though (apart from my English teacher), so I guess this is sort of a trial to see what people think.

Most of my stuff is shorter pieces; almost 'you make up the beginning and the end and I'll just describe this bit in the middle' - very open ended, focusing just on small sections.  I really want to work on a longer project, and I figured this would be a good place to start out.  So here goes.

Music wise, you can't beat Bullet For My Valentine, Asking Alexandria, The White Stripes, Blessthefall, Here Comes The Kraken, Mayday Parade, The Blackout, The Dirty Youth and Placebo.

Film wise, I guess if its gore, its good.  If it can make me laugh or cry, its good.  If it can make me wish that my life could be suspended indefinitely in a single moment of it, its good.

I don't care much for fashion or trends, frankly that whole subject confuses me.  In fact, I aim to dress differently from everybody else.

I have no idea what to expect here, so fingers crossed!
