My name is Amanda and I am 23 years old. I have a BA in English Literature and Composition from a small private university in Texas. My plan is to go to grad school and study Creative Writing, and then teach at a University while pursuing my writing career. What I really want to do is travel and write. Personal update: I know some of you are anxious to read the final chapter (or two? idk yet) of The Keeper's Children, but it has been a long and bumpy ride for me this last month. So many changes have happened including, applying and not getting into grad school (MFA Creative Writing), stressing out about money and not having a job, summer job and where/who I will live with during that summer, and how in the world will I pay for all these student loans? Well, needless to say, most of these problems have been taken care of. I got a great job being a live in nanny come the fall in a different state, I am living with a friend for free during my summer job, I'm deferring my loans until I can pay them, and money isn't going to be as much of an issue as I had originally thought it was going to be PTL! That being said, these next couple weeks are going to still be a bit crazy. I'm moving to Dallas for the summer and starting my job monday. Plus I have to finish a photography job by next Friday (which will be pushing it), so give me a couple more weeks until I can get to the chapter. I promise it will be worth your while, but please bear with me on this lengthy gap in updates. Thanks!
