I’m married to a wonderful man who is my biggest fan and loves me beyond belief. We have two sons. The oldest is a talented musician, recently graduated with a degree in audio production and sound design. The youngest is a teenager, still trying to figure out his purpose in life. Aside from driving me crazy.

I have a degree in accounting (ack), but worked in advertising for ten years before becoming a stay-at-home mom and author.

I’m fascinated by weather, especially hurricanes. The knowledge I’ve learned from watching/studying them over the years comes in handy since I live near the Carolina coast.

I love NASCAR. Every race day you can find me parked in front of the TV, alternately cheering and cussing, depending on how my favorite (or least favorite) driver is doing.

Mexican is my favorite kind of food (closely followed by Italian). One food item I’ll NEVER resist: A Krispy Kreme donut.

I don’t like applying makeup, but agree it’s worth the effort.

I despise pantyhose (but really, who doesn’t).

I mostly wear jeans and T-shirts, and have yet to understand why anyone gives me gifts that need to be dry-cleaned.

I’ve been blessed with a wonderful family, unbelievably loving friends, and a job I love.

You can find my books on Amazon, B&N, and Smashwords. To stay up to date with all the latest, check out my website: www.alannahlynne.com, or my FB page: www.facebook.com/authoralannahlynne

Spend the holidays with your favorite characters from the Heat Wave series, and meet the new additions.

Hi everyone! I wanted to let you know I have a new release out today - DARING MASQUERADE! It's part of Carly Phillips's DARE TO LOVE Kindle World (it's licensed by Amazon for Kindle and only available there). If you don't read on Kindle, no worries! You can still read it on the Kindle App (a free app that you can get on your computer, tablet, or phone)!!

Have you signed up for my newsletter? If not, go to my website - alannahlynne.com - and click on the envelope for "newsletter." That way, you'll be sure to know whenever I have a new release (because, like this one, they won't always be posted on Wattpad), and you'll also stay up to date with current happenings. Also, when you sign up for my newsletter, you'll get a special link to download one of my stories, as well as a few stories from special friends too. :)

You can also find me on Facebook at facebook.com/AlannahLynne... I'm always updating there!

Happy Reading!

Thank you!! Have you signed up for my newsletter on my website? I have a new book coming out on January 20th, but it's licensed to Amazon Kindle Worlds so I won't be able to post any of it here on Wattpad. I'll also have a new Heat Wave Novel coming out in March - A MATTER OF TIME. I only send out newsletters when I have new releases, so you don't have to worry about getting bombarded by them. :D And definitely check out Stephen King's book! It's amazing!

LOL Weeelll... I think it depends on the characters and the story and who you're writing it for. This story was originally written for the Kensington Brava line, so it needed to be steamy. And the characters were "open" to it. Callie's story - GOING ALL IN - isn't nearly as direct. :D Callie just can't say certain things and it took Wade forever to loosen her up. So you really have to do what suits the characters. If they'd say it, write it. If they wouldn't, you can't. Have you ever read Stephen King's, ON WRITING? If not, I highly recommend it. It's also available in audio book, and if you can find that at your library, or you want to get it yourself, that's the best way to "read" it. He narrates the book himself and it's awesome!

Yes. :D I'm on a super-tight dealine with a couple of new books, and I don't have time to post it every couple of days (and I kept getting messages from frustrated readers), so I asked my assistant to load the rest of it for me. I'm not sure when I'll get the rest of CROSSING LINES or GOING ALL IN posted, but at least this one is done. :-)
