An aussie anglophile, in more ways than one. I enjoy tea, especially ‘hipster’ tea, like Artic Fire, which you’ve never heard of…

Apparently I am a hipster, according to some people, just because I drink tea, knit and listen to records. I find this very odd, I’m really not a hipster, only vintage. (But again, you’ve probably never heard of it)
I’m an arts student, so left-wing, politically active, understanding of all things, sees the beauty in shit. Standard art student behaviour, known as the token art student amongst a majority of my friends who study science. I major in Ancient History and want to a historian/epigrapher/work for UNESCO anything to do with history that doesn’t make me a teacher. 

Ancient Greek is the shit.

My spare time is spent writing, and reading. Though recently I have ditched fiction, and focusing more on reading psychological/sociological studies, history and other things. Currently I am reading about Ancient Greek sexuality, which for the most part is undefinable.

I love music, so much so I am in a band, (singer), I play violin and I own a substantial amount of records. Protip: Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon is awesome on vinyl. 

I do a lot of stuff, I haven’t been uploading heaps due to writing for the student newspaper; campaigning for student office; in a play; several committees involving food, sponsorship and classics; oh choir as well; and year book committee. That’s all I could think of from the top of my head. So yeah, it’s safe to say I am enjoying uni.

Most nights are spent in discussion with college friends, involving wide topics from feminism, religion, politics, science, and other things. In my spare time I like to learn, so more essays, studies, teach myself programming, guitar and a few other things.
Did I mention I’m a feminist? And a Christian?

P. S I dislike fanfiction, except Harry Potter and the Methods or Rationality and Luminosity, look it up.
