A typical American teenager, no more special than any other and just as unordinary as every other. I live, I laugh, and I love, but who doesn't at some point in their life? Music makes my life. I dance to it, I play it, and I learn through it. I love musicals, the piano, cloudy days, ballet, and daydreams. Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly are my idols. A smile from a stranger is all it takes to brighten my day. I become a gushing fangirl when someone mentions Les Mis. But most of all, I love and serve Jesus. He has my heart forever. Whoever you are, I wish you the best in life. Never settle for anything less, for you are a beautiful work of art. ----- Whatever happens, life goes on. Keep your smile, because letting someone take it away is letting that person rule you. Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened. I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living. A person's a person, no matter how small. I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. (Phil. 4:13) Mistakes aren't all bad, if you take time to learn from them. To love another person is to see the face of God.
@Adrienne24601 Oh, merci beaucoup! Drop me a line when you start :)
@AlysArden Oh, and I meant to say that I added your story to my library. I haven't had a chance to read it, but hopefully soon! It looks good :)
@AlysArden Yup, Les Mis is my love :) along with any other musical, but it's definitely top three!
@AnnaMS Three Oscar wins for Les Mis! I don't think it deserved best picture, but Anne Hathaway most definitely deserved best supporting actress!! I can't wait to get a dvd, I want to see it again!!
I've been listening to the Les Mis soundtrack all morning, so I had to give you a fan, when I read your profile ^-^
@Adrienne24601 Sorry I am just now writing back, I never get on Wattpad anymore! Me too, I loved Gavroche! The part was played so well. Really? I think Crowe did a great job. Especially when he sang, 'Stars'. Exactly! People need to learn some stuff before they mouth off. Yup, I think it was 1823. The dates can get jumbled up sometimes. Yes!! 'Master of the House' was amazing. Same here, how they acted just made it all the more better. The ending and the metal placed on Gavroche were very touching! Also, no matter how many times I watch Les Mis, I always cry when Jean Valjean dies and 'Do you hear the people sing..' plays. Yes, I wasn't a huge fan of the first 15 minutes. I have to say though, the bishop's voice was very good. They did well with choosing the actors. Anyways, I think it turned out wonderful. Honestly, On the spot I can't think of many things I didn't like about it. Not anything major at least.
@Adrienne2460 awh why thank you, there is a second chaptie you know XD
@VennesaViolet97 You are very welcome. :) Keep writing!! I'm pretty interested to see where this story goes, it's definitely unique!
@AnnaMS I'm so sorry for taking so long to reply! What's it been, a month? :/ I pretty much fell in love with Gavroche. And Eddie Redmayne (hehe by far my favorite) was simply amazing!! I wasn't crazy about Russel Crowe. He has a nice voice, but is so obviously untrained. Hugh Jackman is amazing and has been on Broadway, but his voice really wasn't suited for Valjean. Ugh the link didn't work!! But anyone bashing Les Mis pretty much has me against them. And going to jail for bread? Just read A Tale of Two Cities. The post French Revolution life and society wasn't that great. I'm not exactly sure on the dates, but Valjean would have been arrested right after the revolution, if the June rebellion was in 1821 (or was it 1822?). Anyways...I'm done history feeling now :P What was your favorite number? Master of the House was hilarious, I love how the Thenarediers had their act down to perfection. Anne Hathaway sang I Dreamed a Dream beautifully. She really was perfect. I loved how in the finale the barricade was all massive and everyone had flags instead of guns. Really touching. But my favorite part in the entire movie was when Javert put the medal on Gavroche. SO TOUCHING. What did you not like about it? I thought the first fifteen minutes or so was pretty weak, the prologue through Valjean's solil. But then it became pretty much all kinds of amazing!!! I also didn't like Russel Crowe's voice (to each his own). And Bring Him Home was...odd. But other than that, I have no complaints!!
Thank you for voting~ glad you liked it :)
