So I've returned after months of not writing poetry, the slump has been broken with 'straight lines' which I had originally wrote a few days ago in my new moleskine(standard black) notebooks I received for Christmas. And as of a tonight, has been posted. Hope you had a Happy Holiday Season!

@AdelineRenee I've done it for many years with varying degrees of success. I don't think I will attempt it his year (since you are supposed to start a new project), but I do plant to try to rewrite the novel I Nano-ed last year in an attempt to have 50,000 words of a draft that I am actually willing to let someone read.

So it's only a few weeks now until November. I hope you all know what that means, but in case you don't the answer is NanoWrimo. Please PLEASE tell me at least one of you is planning on doing this. Anyways if any of y'all are, message me with your username so we can be written' buds. (Also, I'm still in the midst of college applications, so it might be awhile until another poem or something).

@AdelineRenee You have enough beautiful poetry that I would encourage you to try to put together a ten poem collection of work for the competitor section of the attys. It's a challenge to have them all be different forms, but I think you can do it. 

I say this only because the Enthusiast category winner is being picked by random selection, and I think you deserve better than that.

Hey, so I'm having a hoop-la of an issue deciding which poem I want to enter into the Atty's. So, it'd be super duper awesome if someone helped either critique/just tell me which pieces were their favorites so I can at least weed out a few of the weak ones. That'd be awesome, I'm hoping everyone here is at least a little bit more decisive than I am.
