Hallo, everyone! I'm Aaliyah. I'm a fourteen year-old writer from New York, who recently moved to the Caribbean. Some random facts about me would be: 1)i'm homeschooled 2)my favorite color is purple 3)i adore rock music 4)I have a twin-sister who IS FAR MORE FUN THAN I  5)this september i begin my formal school building education, and I quite anticipate it! My favorite  writers are Edgar Allan Poe, Tracy Chevalier( i fell in love with 'The girl with the pearl earring' ), Rick Riordan (though at fourteen, I AM OUTGROWING his books)and I might add Hans Christian Andersen ( the author of some of the best known fairy tales told today,or at least yesterday. I WONDER…DO PEOPLE STILL READ TALES TO THEIR CHILDREN? I think not, because if they did i'm certain children wouldnt be so grown-up at nine. 

 I hope I can kindle a fire in my readers' hearts, a place where fairy tales are remembered as well as the latest Justin Beiber track!  And I wish I could use the words HERE to describe how I feel, but my fingers are tired ,so GOOD-BYE.
