An author and reader of fantasy, sci fi, historical fiction (very time specific) and the odd Lee Child and Harlan Coben book.
I'm a post-graduate history student and can get a little carried away and nerdy with little details - I apologise now! I started writing historical fiction to see if I could, and because a rather famous author annoyed me a little and now I'm really enjoying it, and feel a little addicted, seeing stories in all the research I do.
I can be found on facebook, twitter, Goodreads and Wordpress (earl of mercia). And there's a new website for Brunanburh at Brunanburh937.moonfruit.com.

Only a whole week to go until Brunanburh is published in its entirety as an ebook. Desperate to read it? The paperback is now available on Amazon and Lulu.com (because it's very hard to coordinate all the dates!)
And apologies for lack of updates this week. I've been away working and haven't quite managed my normal word limit (at all!!)
Hello new and old followers alike. I'm really pleased you're still enjoying and reading my words. It's great to know. Thanks so much. If you've not had a look at Wulfstan yet, but like the Earls of Mercia, it might be worthwhile seeing what you think of my new pet project.
