Out of the ashes of the world comes seven nations, cruel empires, and forced religion. Christianity has been swept and forgotten, and all manuscripts of its existence are gone. A fourteen year old boy Silas Illia moves to a new region in Diritas, the cruelest empire in the world, to find an old church still standing in the woods, untouched for thousands of years. As he begins to preach the religion, it spreads through trade, and the religion has the potential of sparking an uprising, but the empire is almost impossible to overthrow as its capital city, which is thrice the size of Los Angeles, is heavily guarded at a 100-mile radius. Silas and his followers are in danger of being killed off, but certain people have special information about the religion and how to overthrow the empire.
