The Season of Courting

On December 21st, 2012, the prophesized end of the world, Earth was almost destroyed from all of the technology draining its sources. Almost. To prevent this from happening again, seven people rose above the rest, one from each continent, and forced the world into a near-perfect time once again, where there were no guns, nuclear bombs, or technology. Our story does not begin here. Our story begins two hundred years after this tragedy, at a small farmhouse in a kingdom called Verloen, where a young girl named Jolla Dell is preparing for her seventeenth birthday. When a mysterious uncle comes and gives her a gift she'd never hoped of acquiring, her peaceful world is thrown into chaos, and she feels as if she's being torn in three different directions at once. Will she just drop everything in this new, interesting life, and return to her plain one at her family's farm, or will she have to choose between her heart, her sister, or her father?
