I Was Never Loved
Wake up, be fed poison, go to school, be harassed, come home, have head knocked into the hardest thing available. Go to sleep and repeat. That's basically it for Kai Deneiro, a teenager that has all but given up on any form of love. In her mind it simple doesn't exist; not from her psychotic mother, not from her dead beat estranged father and certainly not from her school mates. What little hope she has lies in her neighbour, bestfriend and confidant Lilia but when she transfers to a new school she runs into the most arrogantly charming boy she has ever met things take a strange turn. Jayden knows he's cocky and it's only because he knows he's just that good. when he meets a frail and broken Kai he's determined to make her happy. Can he prove to her that there is such a thing as love or will he prove her original point that it simply doesn't exist?
