Without a doubt, it was a voice that closely resembled that of a man. Without hesitating, I squawk. "Sal...?" My reflection nods back at me. ------------- Have you ever felt trapped, caged, inside a world that can't even begin to understand you? Do you notice that no matter how hard you try, life just can't live up to your expectations? Is your opinion of yourself completely different from what others perceive you as? Delainey Kurtz has always thought of herself as an outsider. Her brain often moves way to quickly for her liking, and her imagination is off the leash. She has always felt like she can never live up to the person she longs to be and as a result, is constantly trapped inside the chambers of her mind. But that all changes when one night she is shocked with a realization beyond this world. Always, as a joke, she's informed people of her inner friend, Sal. Sal is her brain, someone she can always turn to in a time of need. But when Sal suddenly becomes real, she finds her life tumbling into a whirlwind of trouble, romance, and adventure that her imagination had always dreamed of. -----------------
