Crossing Court

“There’s always been a boundary between the north and south side of Stone Harbor—until now.” Constant fights with the north siders at school keeps south sider native Reichen Beemer either in detention or suspended, while regularly breaking curfew keeps his parents forever disappointed. Tired of being the prodigal son, Reichen’s finally trying to get his act together. However, when he loses his job because of north sider Court McConnell, an insolent classmate, Reichen decides enough is enough. Giana Humphries, born and bred on the north side, is known for being pretty, popular, and seemingly “perfect.” Being the daughter of a north and south sider, she aims to prove there’s a way to be neutral. But when the north side’s pressure to be perfect leads her being publically dumped by Court because of her south side connection, Giana’s not so sure neutrality is all it’s cracked up to be, and she too wants payback. With nothing in common except a shared enemy, Reichen and Giana team up for revenge and their worlds collide, challenging the social order of Stone Harbor forever.

It's amazing. I love how you describe things and it runs so smoothly. You also balance the dialogue very well.
@wheadee Oh, I just mean it has more appeal, not to actually use it. Thanks for taking my ideas into account.
I really liked the first chapter and I could imagine right in my head what the mood was in the settings.
