The Arabian Nights

This text has been banned in the United States for issues of obscenity. Also known as "One Thousand and One Nights", it is a collection of Middle Eastern and South Asian stories and folk tales compiled in Arabic during the Islamic Golden Age. The Arabian Nights is the English language edition selected and edited by Andrew Lang. Some of the most popular stories in it are "Aladdin's Wonderful Lamp", "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves" and "The Seven Voyages of Sinbad the Sailor".

Awesome read. Was looking for some escape and the stories told by Scheherazade had me dreaming up great adventures
It has quite a few spelling errors and translation errors, for instance, djinni or djinn traslated as Genious or Genii... Overall, it is good and worth a read.

Great book!!!!! Had it in my anthology course  but it was incomplete glad u wrote it!!!!!!
for some reason, my mum considers my not having read the Arabian Nights before this as a travesty...
This book MAY have been banned back in the day, but this book is totally used in colleges and sold in bookstores all over the U.S.
