Sophie Coleman is a new sage. She just doesn't know it. That is until she gets visited by Catherine Darcy, a spirit in need of her assistance, Sophie is obviously confused. So Catherine tells Sophie she is bringing her to Keepers Inc, an organization that had Sophie's name in the system. Luke Cain, a demon, is the leader of the organization. To say the least Luke Cain and Sophie don't get along. At all. But that may be because the first time she say him, he had a girl on his lap, and he was very rude to Sophie. So yes Luke is a playboy jerk. And is now her boss, because she can't get out of her new job, it's perminate. But she also meets nice people who are the number one team for Luke, who she is to join, because Luke wants to torture her. But let's not forget Catherine and her problem, she was murdered, and wants Sophie to get the murderer caught for killing her. And here Sophie thought she was just a normal 18 year old girl.
