Rayne, a fifteen year old girl, gets murdered and no one is around to witness it. After one year everyone gives up on her. But, her spirit is still around. Waiting, watching, hoping her killer would be found. Caleb, a young alpha-to-be werewolf, is searching for his mate. He goes into the forest that no animal has ever ventured into before, hoping that his mate is there. It's the only place he hasn't looked. Literally. Caleb comes across Rayne's ghost and they slowly become friends. Both of them having their goals. And it helps that the only person to talk to in a forty mile radius, is the other. When Rayne shows Caleb where her body lays, he digs her up. When he looks into her body's lifeless eyes, he realises she is his mate. The seach for a mate is replaced by a search for a way to bring her back to life. Rayne becomes more obsessed with bringing her killer to justice, now that no one is looking. Caleb knows if the killer is brought to justice her spirit will move on and he will lose his mate forever. Now, he's in a race to do the impossible. He's going to be Bringing Back Rayne.
