Another move, another rich-kid private school, and another gangster pen pal. Wait, what? When Jess finds herself rejected at yet another school for her disability, she discovers there’s only one person in the world she can talk to. His name is Chase Westfield, or “Lucky” on the streets. While Chase is incarcerated in juvenile hall for a crime, Jess slowly builds a friendship with the gangster through a series of letters. But when Chase is released from juvie, that relationship begins to change—and whether that change is for better or for worse, only time will tell.
