A Game of Chess (Watty Awards 2013)

In the middle of a world that was comprised of one town, sat a chessboard. The chessboard was not fancy, in fact it was quite plain. It had black pieces, and white pieces. The chessboard in question sat on a train platform. The trains arrived ever fifteen minutes, letting people off, and taking people to other worlds. Out of all the trains there, only two arrived almost completely empty, save for one soul on each. One dressed in white, the other black. These figures would exit the train and meet at the chessboard for a game, and a friendly conversation.
