Uprooted and moved to another continent by her workaholic father, Kayla Watson has to build her life from scratch, not that it was much before. In her mind her older brother, Jared, is her only true family. Her father cares more about his work than her and her mother well, her where abouts are unknown since when she does see her father he avoids that subject. The thing about this new town she has moved to is many of its residents belong to the werewolf pack. Alex Fletcher is the popular senior who could have any girl he wants. Kayla takes a particualr interest in him but believes nothing could ever go on between them. She's only the new girl and barely over average. Also Alex's temper has her fear him but not much, she knows he's a reasonable guy. Everyone has their problems to deal with but can Kayla help out her friends and trust her heart in his hands? She tries her best to keep her feelings for him reeled in but what she doesn't know is nothing can keep a werewolf from his mate.
