Surreal
Kendra is struggling, trying to adapt back into a 'normal' life, after federal cut backs caused her early released from the only home she has known for twelve years, the Vasper Neurological Institute. After being abducted Kendra becomes lost again in her surreal world of nightmare creatures, fairy's and knights in shiny armour, one of which she begins to fall in love with.
A chance encounter during a kidnapping of a store clerk brings Officer Dmitri Killdeer to a mortal woman that can see him for what he really is. When he learns she is the only child of his kind's arch enemy in the Shadow Court, he plots to use her to his own ends, until it back fires on him in a way he never thought possible. Now not only will he have to defend her from the demons hunting her but from his own kind as well.
