Surviving Suicidal Seattle
Bethany Hamilton has lived her teenage life dreading death, and the death of others. At age eleven, she lost her grandfather, the verdict was suicide. Again at age 13, her aunt overdosed on her pills. She remained in the hospital for almost a week before she woke up from her coma. After this incident, they sent her to a mental asylum, taking away another person in Bethany's life. Ten months later, her favorite teacher killed himself shot gun blow to the head. And now almost seventeen, her mother took her own life, Bethany not even sure why. Now living with her two cousins who can't take care of her properly, she is forced to live in the city with the highest suicide rate in America, Seattle, Washington.
