May, beginning her senior year in high school, must start a new life with her father in what feels like a new country. While preparing to undergo the changes of transferring from a typical public to a wealthy private school, she takes an unexpected step back into her past after she stumbles upon a long lost friendship. With a turn of events, May discovers that there was more to her childhood and the paralyzing secret that was kept from her.

It's reaalllyyy long, which as far as I'm concerned, is the only set back. Other than that, excellent writing, descriptions and word choices!
