After that incident, Wynter Golding has no one to turn to. Wynter is viewed as a murderer, but she doesn't know or remember why. All she knows is that she is estranged by everyone, even her own father.
At the verge of giving up, a boy comes along and encourages her to figure out the mystery. Thus, hurt but determined, Wynter wants to find out what really happened, with the help of the boy.
